San Diego based designer, Michaela Lynne, is a Master of Fine Arts graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. During her tenure she has designed multiple stage productions garnering national recognition through the Kennedy Center American Fine Arts Festival, American Opera Association, as well as many school-wide awards.
Michaela Lynne recently was an assistant scenic designer for Frozen: Live at the Hyperion (Disney's California Adventure) where she worked with Tony award nominee Robert Brill. She also has traveled to Portugal to work at the Teatro Nacional de Soa Carlos where she was the Assistant Scenic Designer working alongside MACMOC Design on the opera Iphegenie en Tauride.
She has also expanded her love of scenic design while dabbling in film as a Production Designer and set dresser. When not sitting behind a computer drafting she has been found covered in paint at theatres in Utah, New York, Arizona, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Montana, and Missouri.
Michaela Lynne holds a BFA in Technical Theatre with an emphasis in Scenic Design from Stephens College in Columbia, MO.
